A collision repair school can teach you a great deal about how to repair cars, trucks and many other types of vehicles after bad collisions. You’ll learn to deal with everything from small dents and minor damage to cars that have been severely damaged after having hit a wall or a tree.
To master all the lessons and the skills you’ll need, you will have to start at the basics and learn about the architecture of most cars and vehicles. That way, you’ll know all about the composition of the body, what makes it resilient, why certain actions can damage it more than others, and how you can work on fixing it when you’re tasked with the job.
Next, you’ll be taught about the theory and practice of how collision repair school techniques work and why some methods can only be applied to certain specific cases. There are many diverse approaches here, so you’ll have to be prepared to gain a lot of new knowledge and learn about applying it in a practical setting as well.
