Street Rod InstructorMy name is Jerome Zimmerman. I came to WyoTech in October of 2000, after 4 years of being a shop apprentice and 2 years of Collision classes at Bismarck State College. After graduating from the Collision and Refinishing and Street Rod programs, I went to Douglas, Wyoming to work at Gary's Body and Paint, which is the same shop that got me started in the industry. There I built hot rods, restos, dragsters, and painted UPS trucks. After a short time, I came back to Laramie to work at Precision Detailing as a painter and fabricator. I stayed there until around 2004, when my wife Kari and I moved to North Dakota to take over a shop. From 2004 through 2018, Kari and I operatied our own custom and hot rod shop called KraZkustoms, where we specialized in traditional old school builds. We have one son, Oliver, who was born in 2015.
