Nunley, Shawn

Vice President of Training

My name is Shawn Nunley. I am originally from Great Falls, Montana, where my love for cars began. My career in the automoive industry began as a painter working for an independent body shop. During this time, I also attended Montana State University Vocational/Technical College. I graduated with a diploma in Autobody. In 1994, I began my education at WyoTech in the Automotive Program. I then went on to Street Rod, Chassis Fabrication, and HPPT. In 1995, I began my teaching career at WyoTech in the Collision and Refinishing Program. I was an instructor for around 11 years. While teaching, I was able to take Trim and Upholstery. I was then promoted to Assistant Coordinator for Collision and Refinishing and Trim and Upholstery, then appointed to Coordinator of those same programs in 2011. In 2018, I was asked by Jim Mathis to come back and help rebuild the education department. I am now the Vice President of Training and oversee all education on campus with the assistance of an amazing team. Some of my interests include cars- from restoration work to car shows and racing- power lifting, and spending time with family.
