Automotive InstructorMy name is Brad Whitman. I am a Cheyenne native. My passion for turning a wrench started when I was about 7 years old and had the desire to ride a motorcycle that wouldn’t start. From that point, I was fascinated by how they operate and how they are built. I graduated from Laramie County Community College in 2002 with an Automotive Technology certificate. About 6 months later I started working in a local shop. I went from sweeping floors to General Manager in 12 years. Shortly afterward, I decided to take on a different point in the automotive field and worked from a Snap-On Tools dealer in Cheyenne for 6 years, learning mobile tool sales and operation. When Covid hit, we had to make a decision, and I had an opportunity to stay home with my 3 children for a couple years. During that I time I decided to pursue a teaching position. 6 months after starting college for a second time, I was offered my dream position of working as an Automotive Instructor at WyoTech.
