About the foundation

Since 2001, the WTI Foundation has partnered with donors to invest in the future of the transportation service industry by making the highest quality service training more accessible to the tomorrow’s most promising technicians, fabricators, and service writers.

Our Mission

The WTI Foundation is a Wyoming nonprofit corporation (hereinafter referred to as “the Foundation”). The exclusive purpose of the Foundation will be to seek donations from the general public and award scholarships to students who are enrolled in a school owned and operated by DDJJDM Enterprises LLC, a Wyoming close limited liability company, d/b/a WyoTech (hereinafter referred to as “WyoTech”). The Foundation will carry on a continuous and bona fide program for the solicitation of funds from the general public. This program will include various fund-raising activities throughout the community, as well as direct solicitation from individuals and from the general public.

Foundation areas of focus

  • Operate a competitive scholarship granting program funded through both public donations and private grants
  • Identify and recognize top WyoTech students with special individual awards
  • Provide a route for employers to identify and recruit the top students at WyoTech through our sponsored scholarship programs
  • Host several annual events connecting donors directly with the students they’ve helped
  • Provide opportunities for vocational education & training advocates to volunteer and help steward our mission
  • Operate the WyoTech Alumni Association, keeping WyoTech graduates connected with the school and each other
  • Manage a number of Memorial Scholarships commemorating friends and families of our donors
  • Accept in-kind donations of vehicles, chassises, engines, and other related parts and equipment for projects or for sale – with all proceeds funding scholarships for students
  • Advocate for the integrity of the transportation service industry through our commitment to recognizing and rewarding excellence in vocational training

Essential skills are powering America right now; however, the work of technicians, providers, and service professionals happens every day, all day, throughout the country.
