Auto Body School Training Prep

If you are passionate about cars and the automotive industry and you consider yourself a technical spirit, you might want to consider collision repair training. Your career path can begin right here: with taking collision repair school classes and starting your professional journey with the purpose of becoming a top technician.

In order to make the most of such training, you must first identify a good school, which offers core programs including Collision and Refinishing Technology, as well as complimentary specialties that might interest you besides the mandatory core program.

Collision repair schools ask for a tuition fee and you will also need money for housing, if the school is not situated in your city/ area. Some of these establishments have their own on-campus, apartment-style housing options.

While you are a student, you will have access to the books, manuals, computers and online resources necessary to complete your training. Throughout the training months, you may also be able to participate to extracurricular activities and development programs, to gain some valuable experience and earn extra credit.

At WyoTech, you can expect to go through a focused training, 8 hours a day (working days only!), over the course of 9 months. With 60% of the time spent in the shops getting hands-on experience, a strict professionalism code, and class schedules structured like a normal 40-hour work week, the WyoTech experience is one of a kind that truly prepares you for the getting into the work force with one of the shortest training programs in the industry.
