Diesel Instructor

My name is Matt Daw. I was born and raised in a small mountain town in Northern California. I joined the U.S. Air Force at 18 and entered the Aerospace Ground Equipment repair career field. After several years active duty, I spent some time as a reservist as a firearms instructor teaching people how to not get DED. I continued working in the transportation industry as a heavy equipment mechanic for the DOT up until the opportunity presented itself to become an instructor for WyoTech in late 2021. I picked up my whole life and moved to Laramie in March of 2022 and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my lifetime. I have always enjoyed teaching others and sharing the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my career. Nothing makes me happier than seeing all of these students that have the perseverance and drive to still want to work hard and be the future of this industry.
