What would you like to share with prospective students?
I learned early that I wanted to do something. I just didn't know what. Luckily, I found something I like. Sometimes, you can have a couple hits and misses, but remember that everything you do now will reflect on how you are in the future.
How did you get started in this field?
Since I was 16 years old, I always thought about plumbing, and a heard that a friend of a friend had a plumbing business. So I inquired about a part time job helping out, and began learning the trade.
Tell us a bit about your background
Growing up, I didn't know what career path I wanted to take. Nothing seemed to keep my attention. I had a friend who had taken up plumbing. It didn't seem like the best job in the whole world, but I gave it a try. As time went on, I grew to really like and respect the trade. I learned the basics in plumbing starting with digging, drain cleaning and re-piping. I then graduated on to self-employed service and repair.
