The Electrician program will provide you with the necessary technical, scientific, communication, and interpersonal skills for successful employment. You will be prepared for residential, industrial, and commercial tasks in this vital field.

The program provides you with the knowledge and ability to install, alter, repair and maintain all types of electrical systems. The training gives you the flexibility to pursue different areas of employment as entry-level electricians.

The Electrician program will provide students training in the following areas:

  • Basic electrical theory and concepts
  • National electrical code and conduit bending
  • Commercial wiring and circuitry
  • Power distribution and intermediate conduit bending
  • Motors and over-current protection
  • Advanced code concepts and blueprints
  • Industrial controls
