What is Accreditation?
Accreditation is a distinction granted to any institution meeting or exceeding the stated criteria of educational quality. The purposes of accreditation include:
- Assess and enhance the educational quality of an institution
- Assure consistency in institutional operations
- Promote institutional improvement
- Provide for public accountability
Why is accreditation important to you?
Accreditation affects you by providing for the responsibility of an institution and assuring prospective and current students of the following:
- It is recognized as a qualified institution of higher learning with approved programs of study that meet recognized academic standards
- It employs a professional staff
- It has sufficient facilities and equipment
- It is a stable and permanent fixture in the educational community
This school voluntarily undergoes periodic accrediting evaluations by teams of qualified examiners including subject experts and specialists in occupational education and private school administration.

- Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
- Authorized by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission.
- Motorcycle Industry Council, Corporate Member-American Motorcyclist Association, Marine Industries Association, Marine Retailers Association of America.
- Licensed by the State of Minnesota, Higher Education Services Office pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 141.
- This School is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.
- Eligible students may apply to the following agencies for determination of benefits while attending WyoTech: Veterans Administration, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and Vocational Rehabilitation.
- School approvals and memberships, for those organizations that provide certificates, are displayed in the lobby. The Campus President can provide additional information as needed.
